Everything you need to know about installing and using VaultiCrypt.
Download the ZIP file, extract it, and run VaultiCrypt_Setup.exe. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway. The installer will place the app in your Program Files and create a desktop shortcut.
Because VaultiCrypt is brand new and not yet signed with a code‑signing certificate. The warning is normal for all unsigned apps. As more people use the software, Microsoft will automatically trust it and the warning will disappear. For now, you can safely click More info → Run anyway.
Open VaultiCrypt. The activation window will appear. Click Start 10‑Encryption Trial. No email, no payment, no internet required. You can encrypt up to 10 files for free – there’s no time limit.
PRO plans unlock unlimited encryptions during the subscription period:
All plans include unlimited encryptions, offline operation, self‑decrypting HTML export, and a 1‑day grace period.
Purchase any plan from our pricing section. You’ll instantly receive a license key. In VaultiCrypt, go to Settings → Change License Key, paste the key, and click Activate Pro. The key is used once and then destroyed – it cannot be reused.
Yes. After activation, no internet connection is required. All encryption happens locally on your machine – your files and passwords never leave your device.
When you encrypt a file, you can choose to export it as an HTML page instead of a .vault file. Anyone with the password can open that HTML in a browser and decrypt the file – no VaultiCrypt needed.
The free trial allows 10 encryptions total. After that, you’ll need to purchase a PRO plan to continue. Your previously encrypted files will still be accessible.
Your license is tied to your computer hardware. If you need to move VaultiCrypt to a new machine, please contact log1x9.official@gmail.com with your user ID (found in the Account window) and we’ll assist you.
